Ron Bare, CFP®

President and Wealth Advisor

Ron began his career in the financial services industry by working for a large company before becoming an independent advisor and founding Bare Wealth Advisors in 2001. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in financial management from Goldey- Beacom, has earned the distinguished CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional designation, is a member of the Financial Services Institute, has served on various non-profit boards, and is a member of Kingdom Advisors. His goal as president is to lead Bare Wealth Advisors continuing to fulfill the firm’s mission of advising clients to intentionally manage wealth that aligns with their God-given purpose.

Ron has been married to his wife Tina since 1996. They have four children and live on a six-generation farm in Atglen. Ron and his family attend The Worship Center Church. Ron enjoys coaching basketball, spending time with family and friends, and hiking.

Curtis Burkholder

Managing Partner and Chief Operations Officer

Curtis Burkholder is the Managing Partner and Chief Operations Officer for Bare Wealth Advisors. He serves in various roles including managing the day to day operations of the business as well as handling a majority of the research and preparation necessary to serve each client. He has completed the FINRA Series 7, 24, and 66 exams, Pennsylvania life and health insurance licensing, and is also a Notary Public. Curtis also has completed extensive training through Kingdom Advisors, led by Ron Blue. He holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Harrisburg Area Community College. He currently is studying for his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Eastern University.

Curtis and his wife, Sheila, live in Leola with their 4 children. Curtis grew up in Chambersburg, PA and moved to Lancaster in the fall of 2004. A few years prior to moving to Lancaster, he served with Youth Evangelism Service (YES) in Birmingham, Alabama where he worked with inner city youth. He volunteers regularly at Threshold Church as well as being a volunteer with Junior Achievement. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities, and reading.

Ryan Kurtz

Financial Advisor

Ryan started his career in the financial industry in 1999 and now holds a FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses as well as a Pennsylvania Life and Health Insurance license. Ryan performs various roles for Bare Wealth Advisors, including personal advisor to clients and handling group retirement plans.

Ryan has been married to his wife Heidi since 2001.  They have four daughters and live in New Holland. Ryan and his family go to Ephrata Community Church where he helps on the worship team.  Some of the things Ryan enjoys are playing guitar, skiing, basketball and spending time with his family.

Jim Wahlberg

Financial & Insurance Advisor

Jim began working in the insurance business in 2007 when he got his PA Health and Life insurance license. Since that time, he’s spent much of his focus working in the Senior market. He has a strong understanding of Medicare supplement, Medicare Advantage, and prescription drug coverage and enjoys helping individuals navigate this confusing step. Jim now holds his Series 7 & 66 securities licenses.

Jim & his wife Cheryl have three children and live in Willow Street. They attend and are involved at Millersville Bible Church. Away from the office, hobbies include time together as a family and most outdoor activities, especially golf.

Lamar King

Relationship Manager

Lamar and his wife, Grace, were married in 2006 and have four children. Lamar was raised on his family’s potato farm in Cochranville and met Grace at Cedarville University in Ohio, where he received his Bachelors in Finance and Accounting along with a Bible minor.

They live together in Lancaster and are very involved at Millersville Bible Church where Lamar helps lead worship through music and lead as a member of the elder team. Some of the things Lamar enjoys are spending time with his family, playing guitar, volleyball, golf, cheering on Philly sports teams and journaling.

Heather Waryga

Executive Assistant

Heather started her career in the financial industry in 2010 and holds a Series 6 and 63 securities licenses as well as a Pennsylvania Life, Annuity and Health Insurance license. Along with assisting the advisors, Heather’s role includes client meeting preparation and follow up as well as client servicing.

Heather lives in Cochranville with her husband and two children. Her family is active at their church, Freedom Life. Heather enjoys being with her family, traveling and outdoor activities.
