Ron Bare, CFP® BFA™ CKA®
Ron began his career in the financial services industry by working for a large company before becoming an independent advisor and founding Bare Wealth Advisors in 2001. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in financial management from Goldey-Beacom College, the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP™) designation, as well as the Certified Kingdom Advisor (CKA®) designation. He is a member of the Financial Services Institute, Kingdom Advisors, and has served on various non-profit boards. His goal as president is to lead Bare Wealth Advisors to fulfill the firm’s mission of advising clients to intentionally manage wealth that aligns with their God-given purpose.
Ron has been married to his wife Tina since 1996. They have four children and live on a six-generation farm in Atglen. Ron and his family attend The Worship Center Church. Ron enjoys coaching basketball, spending time with family and friends, hiking, and other outdoor activities.
Curtis Burkholder, BFA™ CKA®
Curtis serves in various roles including managing the day to day operations of the business as well as meeting with clients. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Eastern University and is a Certified Kingdom Advisor (CKA®). He also holds the Series 7, 24, and 66 securities licenses, Pennsylvania Life and Health Insurance license, and is a Notary Public. He is a member of Kingdom Advisors as well as the Financial Services Institute.
Curtis and his wife, Sheila, live in Leola with their 4 children. Curtis grew up in Chambersburg, PA and moved to Lancaster in the fall of 2004. A few years prior to moving to Lancaster, he served with Youth Evangelism Service (YES) in Birmingham, Alabama where he worked with inner city youth. Curtis and his family attend The Worship Center. He is a volunteer with Junior Achievement and in his free time enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities, and reading.
Ryan started his career in the financial industry in 1999 and holds the Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses as well as the Pennsylvania Life and Health Insurance license. Ryan serves as a personal financial advisor for many clients.
Ryan has been married to his wife Heidi since 2001. They have four daughters and live in New Holland. Ryan and his family go to Ephrata Community Church where he helps on the worship team. Some of the things Ryan enjoys are playing guitar, skiing, basketball and spending time with his family.
Jim began working in the insurance and investment industry in 2007 when he got his Pennsylvania Life and Health Insurance license. He has a strong understanding of life insurance, long-term care insurance, Medicare supplements, Medicare Advantage plans, and prescription drug coverage plans. He has helped many individuals and couples make sense of these often confusing decisions. Jim also holds the Series 7 & 66 securities licenses and is a personal financial advisor to many clients. He enjoys helping clients discern their financial goals and build a plan to meet their individual needs.
Jim has been married to Cheryl since 2006, and they have 3 children. They reside in Willow Street and are active members of Millersville Bible Church. Jim enjoys spending time with his family, sports (especially golf!), and being active outdoors.
Lamar and his wife, Grace, were married in 2006 and have four children. Lamar was raised on his family’s potato farm in Cochranville and met Grace at Cedarville University in Ohio, where he received his Bachelors in Finance and Accounting along with a Bible minor.
Lamar’s role is to deepen existing client relationships along with developing new ones. He will provide additional expertise to our debt analysis, cash flow analysis, and farm or business succession planning. Lamar holds the Series 7 & 66 securities licenses.
Lamar and his family live in Lancaster and are very involved at Millersville Bible Church where Lamar helps lead worship through music as well as leads as a member of the elder team. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, volleyball, golf, cheering on Philly sports teams and journaling.
Heather graduated from Goldey-Beacom College with a degree in Business Administration and then started her career in the financial industry in 2010. Heather holds the Series 6 and 63 securities licenses as well as a Pennsylvania Life and Health Insurance license. Along with assisting the advisors, Heather’s role includes client meeting preparation and follow up as well as client servicing.
Heather lives in Cochranville with her husband Kyle and two children. Her family is active at their church, Freedom Life. Heather enjoys being with her family, traveling and outdoor activities.
Faith grew up in Lancaster County and currently lives in Strasburg. She graduated from Elizabethtown College in 1992, where she earned an accounting degree. Afterward, she worked at her parents family business in Willow Street for several years. Most recently, she worked at the Lampeter-Strasburg Middle School as the attendance secretary.
Faith is happily married to her husband, Rod, for 25 years and has two boys. They currently attend Calvary Church, where they serve as greeters. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, and traveling to Liberty University to spend time with her children.
Amy is part of the administrative team and serves as the Administrative Assistant. She is responsible for assisting the Bare Wealth team in order to serve their clients with efficiency and excellence. Born and raised in Lancaster county, Amy and her husband Geoff were married in 1992, shortly after they graduated together from Bloomsburg University. They have 2 daughters and a son.
Amy is a member of Keystone Church. In addition to serving in the kid’s ministry, Amy is on the ladies’ ministry team and leads a ladies prayer team. Laughing with friends, playing games with family, sitting outside on beautiful evenings, walking in the woods, and sitting near the water are all things that Amy enjoys!
Adam graduated from Messiah College in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Finance. During his time at Messiah, he played on the Men’s Volleyball team and served as captain. Adam joined the team directly after graduating, and is currently pursing the Series 7 securities license.
Adam attends Middle Creek Church of the Brethren, where he has attended for his whole life. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing volleyball and basketball, going to the beach, and cheering on Philly sports teams.
